I have re-sealed several GM products with good success. NAPA sells an OE grade seam sealer. It is grey color, so you would probably want to use masking tape near each side of the seam when applying. Then paint over after it is dry.

I just want to reseal the seam with minimal painting or rework. Is this possible or should I be ready to grind, sand, seal, prime, AND paint?
if you dont have any rust, just reseal it. |
