the t-stat housing s mounted to the water pump .... and that pipe going across. Lots of fun.

let us know what you find. oh ..btw... I **never** never install ANY cooling system or oil flange o-ring dry. they will ALWAYS deform .. or decay or something over time. Even new Honda's from the factory .. and VW diesel engines .. a dry rubber o-ring ( usually, and not in fuel system parts ) is a thing waiting to leak.

very high quality black silicone on it like The Right Stuff ..and it will never leak. and even ..The Right Stuff won't seal if there is no o-ring.
