Like many of you, I am the unofficial "computer guy" for our friends and extended family and am called on way too often to "fix" a computer that is acting up. At least twice a month, I receive an email from someone to my personal email account from a friend whose account has been hacked. It is a continuing battle to convince people to do exactly like Marc recommends.

I personally do not click on links in an email unless there is a description of the link and the email is signed by the sender.

Last night, I received 3 emails from "the list" that I ignored since they violated that rule. Am certain I probably missed some interesting information but I would rather do that than risk having something get past my high end virus and malware detection software.
