Don,
There were models of the 5-spd tranny (ASR being one, one of the "3"s (3H/3P) being another) which came from the factory with a limited-slip differential, so it is possible. I'm just not sure where you might source an OEM LSD these days.
I know of one fellow who has a Peloquin torque-biased differential in a 5-spd AAP transmission. I've driven it and it seems solid.
