Yeah, shipping will vary. They are an aggregator like Amazon as well as a warehouse.
My last order was for a complete tune up, including OEM Bosch plugs, wires, coil, rotor, cap, fuel pump, Mann fuel filter & air filter and two belts. Total was $268 plus $18 shipping from multiple sources.
My next purchase may be a $44 Bosch water pump for my 1.9.
I can’t find lower prices on these brands.

I can't agree on all their shipping charges. I found a vanagon gasket on their site for less than a dollar, but it was going to be more than ten dollars to ship. I upped the quantity thinking that I had met a shipping minimum, but the configurator on the website just multiplied the shipping by the quantity LOL!!! Get a set of them was going to cost a hundred dollars!

I forgot to mention that they often have 5% discount coupons that can be found with a Google search. I've always been able to find one. I've also found their shipping charges to be low as well.

After looking around for the better part of a year, I finally decided to go
to Rock Auto for my Vanagon windshield. They are not very easy to find
these days.
The price was not bad, considering that I paid almost that much when my
Jetta windshield got smashed on the road.
It arrived in less than a week---broken. It was broken in at least ten
places. I went online to the return button on the first page and in ten
minutes I had printed out a prepaid return label for the box. Fifteen
minutes after that, on a friday afternoon, I have the thing unloaded at
fedex.
The acceptance of the package at fedex automatically notified Rock Auto
that the windshield was on its way back to them, which automatically
triggered the shipment of another item to me, which shipped yesterday and
should be here on Friday.
Nobody can say whether the windshield was already broken when Rock Auto
received it, or if it was broken by the carrier. I hope the next one was
handled or packed better than the last one. But, you can't beat the service.
