It turns out that my paint shop was not too impressed with the body work that had previously been done and they've had my van much longer than anticipated. The good thing is that this guy recognizes that bad body work is much more noticeable when you paint the van a darker color, so he's been taking the time to fix it right. In his words, "If I had painted it blue as it was, it would look so wavy that people would probably try to surf on your van!" I found out today that he's got what he calls a very pretty blue paint in the shop and that the van's going to be painted this week!!!! I want pics, I says...
