I have a good used automatic transmission that was actually from a 79 Bus but it looks identical to an early Air Cooled Vanagon Auto Trans. I was wondering if there would be a problem installing it into a 1990 Vanagon that belongs to a customer? I know it doesn't have the factory oil cooler/heater that the water cooled Vanagons had, but beside that can anyone think of a reason why this would be a bad idea to install into the later van? -- Thanks, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com |
