My drivers' side battery box is about 12.5" x 7" x 7". The walls are not
flat, as there is a protrusion for capturing the battery on the rear
wall. Also, there is a very slight taper to the walls. If the target
battery is smaller than these dimensions, it'll drop in. However, taller
batteries may work with modifications to the lid.
