Returned the unit to Lowes and got another one just to,see,if it was a bad unit. Tried it again on the generator and no luck. Called their company support. That was a complete waste of time. Another story. Going to try another approach. Install larger cables on the generator right now I have 16 gauge wire to the ground and to the positive side of the starter solenoid. Why this would make a difference I don't know but these jump starter units can't be that bad? Trying to justify the 80 mile round trip to Lowes!
