Generally fast idle when cold is not a problem as most nights my '84 Vanagon sleeps in a heated garage. It spent this past weekend out in the cold in the boondocks of middle Georgia. Temperature this morning was around 30 F. Van started right away, but no fast idle. Engine held normal idle and sounded rough for first couple of minutes. Engine oil is Mobil 1 15W-50. What should I look at to get fast idle back? John |
