Subject: Headlight Beam Pattern-LVC
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf-8

Hey All, Sorry, perhaps low Vanagon content here, but the other day I drove a 2004 New Beetle at night. I was surprised at the headlight beam projection in front of the vehicle-it appears to only project out about 20 feet in front of the car, but at the same type is very wide to the sides of the vehicle. My Vanagon (with upgraded headlights) projects quite far out in front of the van. Is this due to the type of bulb? I've driven other New Beetles that had more of a "normal" pattern. Thanks, Jeff
