Chris, why don't you buy it? It is actually close to you. When I spoke to the guy yesterday and he told me someone was coming to look at it I thought of you first. Ron isn't a newb in Westy ownership by any means. As he said, if you can't do all of the work yourself, the unknown issues with this van can stack up pretty quickly. You could easily find yourself having invested $12k into and have it tied up for the summer at repair shops and body shops, when you could have just taken that $16k and bought a decent one with a good history and be using it all summer. I wish the guy the best on flipping it. It would have been a good deal for me if I was the first buyer at the $1500-2k price point (I am guessing at what he paid).
