Very cool! I love love love gadgets, and this one looks like it would work fairly well! I am a fan of the five gallon bucket, and breathing washer. It looks like a plunger, but it's made from solid plastic or tin. There are holes, so it can breath. Makes a whooshing sound as you push down on your clothing thru the water. I use a three bucket system. I use the soapy water in the first bucket, spin the clothes in my handy dandy spin dryer, and fill the next bucket while spinning. Then I rinse the clothes, and move the clothes to the next bucket for the second rinse. Then I spin dry, and hang. I rotate the next dirty load into the first rinse water bucket adding a capful of biodegradable soap. Wash, spin, move to third bucket for first rinse. Dump first bucket and use for second rinse, and so on and so forth. I have done laundry this way for over a year. Now I have a little spin washer, which I love, but it's just a tad too big to take camping with me, or cross country journeys. I do at least 4 cross country a year. In the dead of winter, I go to laundrymats. LOL! I am not that hard core!
