Eric, Just ordered a set of those, as I was thinking about how nice it would be to protect the new fuel line in the wheel well...I suspect they are held in by the wheel arch lip and perhaps some strategically placed screws. There are a few spots where plastic retainer nuts could be added, much like what is on my 2003 Jetta. I'll see when I get them.
