What a great dad! Ready to fly 5000 kms to start a car for his son. I'm sure, there are many members of this list down there to help. Stay home for now. I'm in the Seattle area, so no help. Zoltan

I BOUGHT AN 82 WESTY AND FIXXED IT UP FOR MY SON AND DROVE IT TO SAN DIEG FROM THE CHARLOTTE NC AREA.

I REPLACED THE FUEL SYSTEM FROM THE TANK TO THE INJECTORS PLUS THE COLD START VALVE. I ALSO REPLACED THE DUAL RELAY. STARTER, BATTERY, SOME WIREING. AND HAD THE ALTERNATOR REBUILT.

I'M GOING TO PUT A RELAY ON THE STARTER IN A FEW WEEKS .

MY SON CALLED AND SAID IT TOOK ABOUT 6 TRIES TO GET IT STARTED AND THAT IT STALL SOMETIMES.

I CAN ONLY BRING SO MANY TOOLD OUT WHEN I FLY OUT AND DON'T REALLY HAVE A PLACE TO WORK ON IT.

CAN SOMEONE RECCOMEND AN AIR COOLED VANAGON GURU IN THE SAN DIEGO AREA/

THANKS,
