Subject: Oil leak around oil cooler
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hello All! Quick question, I'm traveling cross country and I'm in the cold of South Dakota, the last 2 days the temps have dropped below freezing. I noticed some oil that leaked out between the engine and the oil cooler, not much, I checked levels and it's fine. Next day it was warmer and less oil leaked out. I'm thinking the seal shrunk in the extreme temps, it was -10 below with a -30 wind chill. Once I get going and warmed up, there is no leakage that I can see and oil level is fine. Is this something I need to replace asap? Or just keep checking it? I am heading to California and everyday I'm in warmer climates. Cheers, Bill
