I have had 2 encounters recently with Vanagons that displayed the BlinkingCoolantLight@StartUp & Quite ByAccident on

the 1st 1, found that if I turned the Ignit'Switch to the RunPosition & then waited 20-30Sec's before starting, the BlinkinLight

would act as it should ~ Tried the same trick on the next 1 & it worked ~ You might want to give it a try ~

Also ~ The only Prob' I see with not having another SmallHose From the XTank OutFlow to the TStat is when the Heaters

Valves are closed then that Loop is Blocked ~ May not be an Issue ~
