Maybe a capacitor that "stores" some voltage for start up???
BTW, I know nothing about electronics, but dsome of the car stereo
freaks use really big capacitors to store voltage for their really high
powered competition stereo systems.. Just thinking out loud...which will
get me into trouble eventually....
