This is a 1985 van with A/T and a built in A/C. The place for the radio is taken by the A/C and now I don’t know where to put it to. Anyone has experience with this? Is there a supplier suggestion? Thanks, Zoltan

Zolt, i would think you being a longtime listmember would already know this....but anyway.. If the van has the factory radio location taken up by a A/C vent.. then it has the Behr in dash a/c. on vans with the Behr a/c, Behr usually provided a plastic console box to mount the radio in. it was screwed to the lower heater diffuser cover and to the floor. it was made specifically for the vanagon. good luck finding a Behr one they are always cracked from people kicking them with their feet. just make one out of wood. ..
