Only the Behr under dash units replaced the radio opening with a vent. There was a molded plastic box that mounted the radio in front of the shifter as part of the kit.

Hi Zoltan

there was a fairly elaborate read about this not too long ago. others will have to summarize but if I’m remembering right the 85 AC was added later and the radio spot used. People talked about a wooden box in front of the AT shifter or some place like that where a radio would be installed. the info will be in the archive but I’m sure folks will give you better details then i did.

The place for the radio is taken by the A/C and now I don’t know where to put it to. > Anyone has experience with this? Is there a supplier suggestion? > Thanks, > Zoltan
