There was a gasoline-fired coolant heater called the BBW-46 made by Webasto , Canadian market only. The BA-6 was a North American air heater that was optional in air-cooled Vanagons 1980-83.The Diesel Vanagon has a Diesel fired version , the DA-6. The BA-6 and DA -6 were made by Eberspacher. There was a smaller under-bench seat version called the BA-5. I've only seen one BA-5, in a Dehler Profi I sell and service these so if you need parts or advice just holler.
