When it comes to Vanagons, my experience is limited. Other than the WBX I purchased last summer for the trip with my son, I've crawled around almost exclusively TD Joker, California and Atlantic models in my search for the "right" van. I have seen several with the heater installed under the rear bench to the passenger side. None of these would have been BN4s as the fuel type was diesel.
