I recently decided to replace my reverse light switch on the drivers side of my transmission, ('84 manual westy). The symptom I was chasing was a flickering of the reverse lights when in reverse. After replacing the switch, the reverse lights now come on "almost" all the time no matter what gear I'm in. A friend suggested I replace the crimp connectors that connect to the two contacts on the switch. Did that. No change. What gives? Anybody ever seen this? |
