I have no idea why the pushrods are bent. I was given the van. It had sat idle stored is someones garage for 15 years. I had to bring it back to life so to speak, but I used it very little for five years. But late last year finally I put it on the road. I have no idea what might have bent the pusrods - or when. The engine has run good though.

I can only hope there is no further damage. No metal has show up in the oil changes.

I have already install the new collaspible pusnrod tubes and seals. Doesn't seem to be anyplace down here close by to get pushrods.
