The standard length waterboxer and also most of the aircooled push rods for the pancake version of that engine, are 10 3/4" long. The new ones I bought a while back under that part number wound up being 10 1/4" long or 1/2" shorter. Recently a customer in Florida needed a set of push rods for his 2.0l Aircooled pancake engine in his Vanagon (engine code should be CS I think). I sent him some of the standard length push rods that I took out of a 74 Bus engine that was here. He emailed me that they were 1/2" too long. I sent him the new ones I had that were too short for everything I had seen and they were perfect for his aircooled engine (matched exactly). So, just measure before you order. That is all I am recommending. Glad I never threw away any Vanagon push rods because I have sold so many at that $40 each price that I am actually getting low at the moment and I used to have bins full of them.
