Hey guys and gals, I'm installing the steering knuckle with new lower and upper ball joints. The Bentley states that it had to be installed a certain way so the lower joint boot doesn't tear. From my perspective it can only be installed one way: thread the lower ball joint through the hole and attach and then just attach the upper joint.
It seems pretty straight forward. Am I missing something here? The last thing I want is to install the knuckle, then have the boot tear on the lower joint. Suggestions? Comments? Words of wisdom all appreciated. Mike |
