Whatever you choose, I would ditch the stock transmission cooler in a heartbeat

Mine is automatic.

I just remember when the stock cooler broke and I got coolant in my transmission. Super duper nightmare. Changed the fluid ten times to get the coolant out. Then just bypassed the the transmission so that coolant was isolated from the transmission.

Had no cooler for a long whole afterwards.

Started with coolant hose but it would break from the pressure and or ATF oil. So then I ended up with something cobbled together using better hosing. Though I forget excellent what, as you have to have a u shape turn of the "hose" to do this.

But my transmission ran just fine afterwards.
