hmmmm.... in any case, on a front door shimming the bottom hinge aftward ( betwixt body and hinge ) raises the rear edge of the door. ( if hinge is mounted to the normal 'front' side of the frame )

you say 'forward side' ... ( no vanagon right here to look at ) in that case ...one would remove a shim . ..

pretty sure I fixed 'low at the rear edge' by adding as shim . if it is attached at the forward side.. then adding at the upper hinge do it..moving the upper hinge forward. that sorta 'fits' ...maybe that's what I did.
