1/2 cm sounds right to me. You may have left off the spacer on the spindle that the oil seal rides on on the driver's side. Stuart -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Michael Sent: Saturday, February 28, 2015 11:18 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Rotor question I'm doing my rotors and bearings (first time). The driver side rotor went on fine. The passenger side is different. I put the rotor on as far as it will go and there is a gap about 1/2 cm between the rotor and the dust shield. No gap on drivers side. Any ideas before I beat it to death with a hammer? Mike= |
