Not saying this is the likely cause, as there's much more knowledgable folks than me commenting in this thread, but its my misunderstanding that a Vanagon fuel system can show good pressure but still have a poor delivery rate.

My theory: if fuel tank has enough debris in it, after the 30", that debris could block the pickup as fuel gets sucked out. Images showing inside of 1990 fuel tank:

your fuel tank may be different though.

Also, assuming your bus doesn't have a pre pump filter, there is a screen at the inlet of your fuel pump. Maybe dirt-debris could bunch up at this screen and block it after 30" ?

And, could a clogged cat cause the same symptoms?
