RE: AAA and Coach Net and Such Very interesting and helpful thread, thanks for starting it Dennis. A couple of things. First, vehicle insurance is available through AAA in Washington State contrary to what was said in one post. Second, keep in mind that AAA is organized on a state by state basis. And plans and details of plans vary from state to state. And since any such plan is insurance the laws and regulations of each state become a major factor in what is available and how it is available in each state. I have AAA Premium here in Washington and actually used it for the first time for my Westy just last fall. And had no problems being towed to private property for the repairs to be made. About a 30 miles tow. I just looked at the website for Coach Net and have left them a question: Do they cover Class B RV's? Out Vanagon Westfalias are considered a Class B, a van conversion. If so I may well switch to Coach Net when my AAA expires next fall. Just a couple dollars more but based on the experience people on this list have had more desirable that AAA. |
