I did realize I left out an important part in my first posting on this subject. Back in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's I had AAA and then Good Sam, and had no problems getting towed up to 100 miles where ever I wanted. It is in the last 5 years I've had problems, so those who have the premium towing and say they haven't used it in a while my be unpleasantly surprised next time they do.
