Hi all I am still here and my 31 year old van that would not be running without you all and your inspiration. We just got in the van back this week after it lost second gear as it would not down shift and had serious gear clash. I found that the clutch slave came loose and the transmission had to be pulled and renewed. We are looking forward to camping and travel with my son and his wife to Yellowstone and Glacier this Summer, we are going to caravan  from Calif with their Synco. I have not got on Face book as yet but I read the Samba all the time as well as the list. I will be 66 this year. " we gonna ride it till we just can't ride it no more"
