I'm still lurking, or probably more correctly investigating/reviewing the messages for an hour or two every other week while Westley is in winter storage. I don't have much to contribute to the list but it's been very helpful to me, especially regarding: - solid advise and quick response for dealing with issues such as the flashing temp light on the highway within two weeks of ownership - sourcing components like fuel injectors (thanks to Ken Wilford) - The pause and then LOOK concept - that even I will be able to identify and mitigate some problems by looking at the engine compartment drive train etc rather than just reading the manual and watching instruments from the drivers seat - making a solid and correct decision to having my vehicle towed and not driven to repair the gas leak in the engine compartment. PO had missed replacing the short pieces connecting to the injectors.

In short, I'm thankful for the list and all the contributors, find the banter entertaining and hope to contribute in the future.

Goetz 1987 Westfalia "Westley" named by my wife based on the "my one true love" line in the movie "The Princess Bride". I'm not convinced our "Westley" will be as dependable.
