Which seal are you replacing?  The one that goes all the way around the door in one strip?  The one that is on just the front of the door?  Or the seals on the windows?  Use this Bus Depot diagram to sort them out:  http://www.busdepot.com/details/vanagonrubber/

I've done the front door window weather channels and weather strip - quite easy, but measure carefully, and start with the end that tucks in under the vent window's rubber.  The weatherstripping that goes all around the door is not much more difficult, except that it stretches in places if you're not careful;  measure and be sure you're getting it mounted evenly.
