Enough conjecture... ;-)

It is a van that Graham (business partner) and I have done up a bit and is now for sale. It's a very nice, one owner original Westy. Pretty hard to find one with ~80k miles these days.

As for selling price... we sold another '87 with ~65k miles last year for $28.5k. We also sold an extremely nice '91 Orly Blue Westy for $39.5k last summer. Let's see... there was also the '90 Westy that went for $32k last April. I think that's about it for the last year.

Westy "refurbing" is a side gig for Graham and me. Definitely not a full-time job. We're lucky if we can get 4 or 5 done a year. For example, we still have two '90 Westies, another '87, and an '85 Weekender turbo diesel to get done. Don't even ask about Dokas or tin tops!

Cheers,

Jeff

Ah ha! Makes me wonder why he thinks the listing prices for Westy's are out of line. But, I assume, he does not live in San Diego. I hope Graham gets his $29,500, it looks like he should. Maybe Jeff will let us know what it sells for.
