This tool can be a handy way to get to the bottom of things without needless parts purchases or fruitless parts swapping. We were almost home from a long trip a few months ago when our new 87 van suffered the "won't start and don't hear the fuel pump" scenario. My wife was pretty pleased when I whipped this bypass tool out, hooked it up, and got us home.
