Hee Hee!!! Oh you guys! I was thinking a fire pole, so you can arrive in the shop quickly from the loft! Of course it could serve double duty! LOL! Really though, building a shop with an apartment to live in above is one of my dreams! Was just discussing this last night with Otmar, who has an awesome shop, with a tiny apartment on the main floor. Lift, lots of tools, and a clean room for electronics work. He then built a little house on the property and moved into it this last Fall! Since the Stretchla isn't done yet, he just bought an 87 Westy this last week to take his Mom camping! How sweet is that!
