There are many lifts available for the hobbyist/enthusiast that are
reasonably priced. One consideration for the two post lift is the floor
requirements. Some will need footings.
Most standard concrete floors are not designed for high load anchor
retention. Yes concrete comes in all varieties of strength both pressure and
tensile and finishes-porosities.

My lift is an older Benwill that I obtained used. Final vote for me is the
two posts attach to steel under carriage and could also support a car
without being bolted down at all. 4 3/4" anchors on each side basically just
hold it in place and take some load for extreme unbalances. The cross over
cables run under this frame so the lift is clear overhead. Unfortunately my
garage only has a 10-1/2' ceiling. Northern tool has some interesting lift
options including a portable two post, half height lift. This would be great
for outside tire changes and brake work.

I don't see prices for the Rotary brand lifts.  Here is what I have been
looking at, and have designed one bay of my garage around a future
installation of the overhead 9KOH.  These are available locally, too I
believe.
