Hi,

Thread on samba about body creasing in hard worked syncros had Derek drew bringing up the jacking point/trailing arm outer mount protectors shown in the vw publication " journeys under difficult conditions" . I've had a copy of that publication for years but it took Derek's mention to have me take 30 min yesterday to make one.

I wanted to see just exactly how it fits up on the van. They do have to be welded to the body, maybe that's a reason you don't see too many fitted. It can't be that they are hard to make.
