Are you planning on doing this yourself or paying someone? There are million gotchas with a conversion . I have a 2.2 subi in my Camper and it runs well , but it has taken me 2 years to get it reliable and sorted. I love how it runs but anything can break or need maintenance . I run a VW boxer everyday and put a lot of miles on it and it is dead reliable . Sure it just got rebuilt , but do did my "low Miles" 2.2 Subaru . My point is a direct WBX swap with a cheapy rebuild will give you 10k or more for well under a grand or thereabouts. Just my .02
