Sorry, if I’m a bit late responding to this but I’m on the road travelling and just now catching up on Vanagon List mail. The Pop-Top sets are NOT out of stock, that was an error on the website that has now been corrected. AND, you do not need to trim any of the bolts in my set, all fit as intended, PERFECTLY. AND, as for what happened to Roger Sisler, well I’m not sure, but when he retired from providing the Stainless Steel hardware for Vanagons, I bought up most of his old stock and have now set up my own supply of these, much more exhaustive than ever before. I can provide practically any hardware item on the Vanagon in Stainless Steel. It’s not all listed on my website, only the more useful sets are, but if there’s something specific you need let me know and I will see if I can get it.
