In Oregon, if the scales is (are?) closed, you just drive on and read the display. My A'wagen, loaded, goes across at 5100. The Westy, about 4800. If the scales is open, you just keep driving. As Don said, the resolution is typically 100#.

How exactly do you make use of the scales? Can anyone just drive though and get their van weighed? Is there a cost involved?

thanks, Todd '88 Westy
