I apologize to all for the 'shotgun' post.   Somebody from one of our lists
offered me a free slider door handle for the 84 van I drive.   Mine was
fractured in the casting portion that inserts into the door, and it was
hanging by a thread....difficult to operate and likely to grenade at any
moment.

  Well, the offered free one arrived and was installed and it works as it
should now.  So, sorry I've again lost your contact information....what
with returning to on the grid living in a real house, and re-connecting to
the Internet via lap top rather than smart phone, my correspondence it
somewhat sloppy right now..Anyhow, thank you for sending that right
out..Works great and saved me some money...
