Of course that's a function of mixture control and other sources of contamination. Unfortunately some cats get replaced because they failed but root problem was never addressed. Not saying the Magnaflows are gold, just the data could be skewed some.

The GW CARB approved cat is actually a Magnaflow cat.

FWIW... I have seen a 50% failure rate on those cats over the last few years. They seem to fall apart inside. The good news is that they have a 5 years warranty.
