So I have an aftermarket Berh AC system in my 84 westy but the PO removed the compressor. The fan in the dash still works. The hoses and at least one related wire still go back to the engine compartment. As far as I can tell nothing else is missing. Any idea how to go about getting this thing going again? Are compressors pretty generic? Would any compressor that fits a stock vanagon ac work?
