Same flasher relay.

The four-way switch does a number of things that all have to happen. Suggest exercising the switch rapidly on and off a number of times and see if it gets better. If it does you can maybe save some circuit tracing. At that point you can think about a new switch or if you're handy with small things possibly opening the existing one and cleaning it if it isn't too worn out.
