The latest "Look" for vehicles is "blacked-out",,,Black wheels, no chrome
whatsoever, real dark limo tint....that is what the 'fornians' are doing to
their rigs now .....I saw plenty of really fancy alloy wheels that had been
painted over or coated with that nasty stuff that the kids now are using
rather than real paint....
   So if you want to be "in" paint all those wheels black...no hubcaps, or
black hubcaps, too.
   Personally, I do so much rough road driving that I won't have alloys on
my van...I have  bent high quality  forged allo, ys and broken cast
alloys....
   And...for 14" tires, last year and now about 30k miles, I have run some
inexpensive tires from China called Go Form G 20s (I think that is the
number)  in the stock vanagon size, with a good load and sidewall
rating...Under $40 a piece,  delivered...said to have been manufactured
using Hankook technology in the ad copy...They are handling and wearing
equal to the Hankook RAO 8s I've run before....they look about 1/3 worn
now, I am using them in conjunction with Nokian all weathers on the rear,
again, same as I have done with RAO 8s....a good combo and those Go Forms
are a great deal....from Tireseasy.com....
