When you adjust the lifters properly you have to wait for them to bleed down. At some point start the engine and it may run rough until the settle in. Unless you had a problem lifter adjustment is not normal maintenance. If they do really need adjustment then a repair of some type will follow. The adjusting screws tend to wear in a pattern with the valve stem. After you miss align this wear the screw and stem may quickly get torn up. Sometimes to the point of keeper failure.

Hello to the List,

I had to set my valves with zero turn onto the lifters, because they kept on coming back with no compression until.  
So, the normal one or two full turn would not work this time.
What would be the reason?
Anyone?
