A point that could possibly cause minor confusion: The Acme fittings talked about are named somewhat confusingly. They are called Acme because their connections use a thread of the type called Acme, 27-degree sloped sides and flat top and bottom. The RV Acme filling valve is the same one used on stationary propane tanks for heating; any propane truck on the road should be able to fill you. Willing is a different question.
